In February, we launched a range of innovative spirits to capture the spirit of the Alps and spread it. Faced with the success of its Alpine Gin and its Alpine Vodka, we have decided to surprise you even more by creating the MEXALP.
Why not provoke an unprecedented encounter between two places rich in traditions and ancestral know-how such as the Alps and Mexico?
MEXALP is a unique drink made from a traditional mezcal produced in an artisanal way in Mexico in the region of Oaxaca, which is then redistilled locally, in Switzerland with alpine plants.
MEXALP is a great way to experience mezcal. It sublimates the smoky complexity of traditional mezcal with the unique combination of genepi aromas, edelweiss from the Alps underlined by the sweetness of the fruity notes of Valais.
To meet this challenge, we approached the Morand distillery because of their expertise in the distillation of traditional alcohols but also for their experience of Alpine fruits and plants.
